The schist village was restored as a place for artistic creation, residences and workshops, preserving its location on the hillside of Serra da Lousã.
What to watch out for
In addition to architecture, try to understand the contemporary presence of ateliers and cultural projects. Pedestrian streets, stairs and gaps require adequate mobility; Events and workspaces do not mean permanent access to all buildings.
