Clear information about personal data, cookies, content, external links and use of this website.
TECLA ENTER Lda, Portuguese tax number PT508849870, owns tourism-in-portugal.com and is responsible for personal-data processing through this website. For privacy matters, use contact@tourism-in-portugal.com.
Content is provided for travel information and planning. It is not a guarantee of availability, price, safety, weather or access. Confirm time-sensitive information with official sources.
We may process data supplied through the newsletter or contact form, technical data strictly required for sessions and security, and aggregate metrics once lawfully enabled. Favourites and personal itineraries remain on the device; when a sharing link is created, the itinerary is stored on the server without requiring a name or email. Reactions use an anonymous identifier to prevent repeated votes. We do not sell personal data.
Data is used to answer enquiries, manage requested subscriptions, secure the service and meet legal duties. The applicable basis may be consent, steps requested by the user, legitimate security interests or a legal obligation.
We store email, language, signup source and consent date, plus a technical security identifier, to manage the subscription. Consent may be withdrawn at any time. Consent may be withdrawn at any time through the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter or via contact@tourism-in-portugal.com. Subscription uses email confirmation. Campaigns may include a technical pixel to estimate opens and redirect links to count clicks. Opens are approximate because images may be blocked or preloaded; clicks are linked only to the campaign delivery and no IP address is stored.
We store name, email, subject, category, message, language, date and a technical security identifier to answer and manage requests and prevent abuse. Do not send sensitive or unnecessary information.
When you submit a correction, update, story or interesting fact, we store the source page, contribution type and area, rating, comment, optional source, language, date and a technical security identifier. Name and email are optional. Contributions are reviewed manually and are not published automatically.
We count views, initiated shares, searches, result selections and external-link clicks in aggregate to improve content and navigation. These totals use neither IP addresses nor session identifiers. If you allow “Statistics”, we may also measure reading depth and time, favourites, planning and internal journeys through an irreversible daily identifier. We filter automated traffic and redact searches that appear to contain an email address or telephone number.
We use local storage to keep Favourites on your device and session storage to preserve filters and navigation position. This functional data remains in your browser and can be deleted in its settings. The website session uses a protected, strictly necessary technical cookie that is not used for advertising.
When Google measurement is configured, Google Analytics loads only after analytics consent through Consent Mode v2. The choice can be changed under “Manage privacy”. reCAPTCHA may load when a public form is submitted to assess abuse and security; the result is verified on the server.
Contact messages and editorial contributions are kept for up to 24 months after the last follow-up, unless a legal obligation or the defence of rights requires longer. Newsletter records remain while the subscription is active; after cancellation we retain only the minimum needed to respect that choice. Technical security identifiers and aggregate metrics are reviewed and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection where applicable, withdraw consent and complain to the competent data-protection authority.
Strictly necessary session and security cookies may be used. Analytics, personalisation or advertising cookies will not be enabled without the visitor’s appropriate choice where consent is required.
Original text, structure, identity and site elements are protected. Third-party photographs retain their stated licences and credits.
We do not fully control external content, prices or policies. We seek accuracy, but changes and errors may occur. These terms may be updated and the current date appears below.
