Tabuaço is a village in the Alto Douro Wine Region surrounded by a municipality with pronounced relief. The center, the Museu do Imaginário Duriense and the villages give cultural context to the landscape; viewpoints such as Fradinho and São Domingos are outside the center. The EN222 crosses the municipality between vineyards and valleys, with slow driving and parking only in safe places.
