Spring and river beach
Ourém Municipality describes Agroal as the largest spring of the Nabão River. Its natural pool is known for cold water even in summer. Traditional claims about therapeutic properties are not medical advice or a health guarantee.
Boardwalk and nature park
An approximately 800-metre boardwalk links the river beach to Parque Natureza do Agroal. It is a short route with information about local fauna and flora; check surface, accessibility and current restrictions on site.
Bathing season
Lifeguards, Blue Flag status, bar, changing facilities and other services are seasonal and may change each year. Check municipal and official bathing information before entering the water.
Ourém and Tomar
The beach belongs administratively to Ourém. The opposite bank brings it close to Sabacheira in Tomar, so Agroal works naturally in a journey between both areas without changing its municipal identity.
